"Want to die as shahids": Yoseph Haddad shares horrifying footage of children in Gaza

While the entire country of Israel is mobilizing to find a missing child, shocking and disturbing footage has appeared on social media showing scenes from a displaced persons camp in the Gaza Strip, illustrating once again the deep incitement among the young generation in the Strip. In the video, several small children are seen, some with their faces covered in scarves and masks, holding wooden rifles and makeshift sticks.
During the video, the adult filming them asks: "Why are you dressed like this, children, all of you with your faces covered and holding guns in your hands?". In response, the children reply with harsh statements about their desire to "break the Jews and kill them" and to "die as shahids". Alongside these calls, the children share the existential distress on the ground, saying: "We are tired of the torn tents; it rained on us and the rain got inside".

During the recording, when one of the children accidentally reveals his face, the cameraman warns him and instructs him to cover it again, explaining that "the drone will chase you until it hits you" if he is identified. At the end of the video, the cameraman encourages the children: "Come on, slowly, run, storm their post and shoot at them". The children are seen running forward as part of a game simulating combat.
The video has caused a great stir and a wave of reactions online, with many pointing to the difficult combination of poor humanitarian conditions in the tent camps and the indoctrination toward violence and the dream of becoming a shahid from a very young age.
