Towards the Rome talks: USA warned Hezbollah - "Any attack will open the gates of hell"

At the same time, the USA conveyed a sharp message that any attack by Hezbollah against Israel will lead to a broad response directed against the organization and Lebanon.
The Lebanese newspaper Nidaa al-Watan reported this morning (Sunday) that in the round of Lebanese-Israeli talks scheduled to take place in Rome at the beginning of the month, the central item to be discussed will be the determination of the body that will oversee the implementation of the pilot zones. According to the report, Lebanon insists that UNIFIL forces be the overseeing body, but Israel has doubts due to past experiences. The USA informed Lebanon and Israel that it refuses to station its own forces in southern Lebanon for the purpose of overseeing the implementation of the pilot zone, due to risks experienced in the past.
It was also learned that Lebanon received through the USA a firm and very severe message, according to which the price that Hezbollah will pay if it intervenes in favor of Iran in the event of a new American war and carries out attacks against Israel will be very heavy.
