US Vice President J.D. Vance stated that American Middle East policy cannot be subordinated to Israel, drawing a parallel with US policy regarding NATO. Speaking on foreign policy, Vance emphasized that the United States will cooperate and disagree as necessary to advance American interests, calling it the only rational approach to diplomacy.

Addressing criticism that President Donald Trump was allegedly pressured into a conflict with Iran, Vance defended the administration's record. He noted that Trump is the only US president in the last 40 years who has demonstrated a true willingness to chart an independent course from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when national interests diverge.

Vance acknowledged that Israel remains a vital partner in military technology and intelligence sharing, but reiterated that disagreements are inevitable. He also remarked on the irony of Democratic criticism regarding Trump's relationship with Netanyahu, pointing out that Trump has consistently shown readiness to disagree with Israeli leadership.
