A magnificent personal performance: a brace for Dia Saba in a historic match in Turkey

After scoring and assisting in the match that secured Amedspor a historic promotion to the top division in Turkey three and a half months ago, Dia Saba wrote another chapter in the history of the Kurdish club with a brace this evening (Sunday) in his Super Lig debut. His team defeated Erzurumspor 0:3 in a home match in the opening round and started the season in great fashion.

Saba found the net as early as the 20th minute, but the VAR intervened and the score remained goalless until the 53rd minute. Then the Israeli controlled a long ball magically with his left foot, deceived his marker and the goalkeeper with a move to the right, and kicked with his left into the net.
