Mamdani's video, which garnered tens of millions of views, included sharp criticism of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with the mayor declaring his intention to act to arrest him if he arrives in New York, following the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court. While Mamdani acknowledged that this step does not fully fall within his powers as mayor, his remarks sparked a wide public outcry.

The publication also drew reactions within the sports world. A number of NBA players, including Kyrie Irving and Victor Wembanyama, sparked a discussion after liking Mamdani's video. Kuzma chose to respond in a different way. He shared Mamdani's video and wrote a scathing critique of what he called a culture of "performing for social media":

"People are cosplaying roles they don't have the authority, talent, or experience to fill, just for content."

According to Kuzma, the phenomenon reflects a broader culture in which people try to present activity instead of actually performing it. He argued that in the social media era, short videos and slogans have sometimes become a substitute for long-term work and real actions.
