Hapoel Ramat Gan has a new owner. Former footballer Avi Yehiel, who played in the past for Maccabi Tel Aviv, among others, has officially completed the acquisition of the club. The club stated that the legal and bureaucratic procedure for transferring ownership was officially finalized on Tuesday after receiving all necessary approvals from the Football Association.

An official statement from the club read:

"The procedure, which constituted the final formal stage of the process, completes the official entry of Avi Yehiel as the club's owner. Avi will continue to lead the club's operations together with a group of private investors who share our vision. The club continues its preparations for the 2026/27 season with a commitment to professional, stable, and long-term development."

Avi Yehiel commented:

"The completion of the formal procedure marks a significant and exciting milestone for us, the official beginning of a new era at the club. We continue to work with humility, responsibility, and patience. There is still a lot ahead of us, but the path and the vision are clear: that Hapoel Ramat Gan will continue to move forward in a way that brings pride to the fans."
