Majority of Israelis Oppose Withdrawal from Gaza: Poll Results

A Channel 14 poll published Tuesday shows that 87% of respondents oppose ending the destruction of terror threats in the Gaza Strip until Hamas is disarmed. The survey also addressed the conduct of Defense Minister Israel Katz, Donald Trump's Iran policy, and calls for investigations into Democratic candidates.

A Channel 14 poll published Tuesday presents a clear picture of public opinion on several burning issues. The data shows that an overwhelming majority of 87% of the public believes that Israel must oppose a withdrawal from the 'yellow line' and the cessation of the destruction of terror threats in the Gaza Strip before Hamas is disarmed. In contrast, only 8% of respondents support such a withdrawal, while 5% have no opinion.

In addition, the poll examined the public's position regarding the conduct of Defense Minister Israel Katz, who addressed the replacement of the Central Command chief, Major General Avi Blot, in a live broadcast. A majority of 64% of respondents determined that the Defense Minister was wrong in his conduct, compared to 22% who believed he was right, and 4% who had no opinion.

Regarding the policy of US President Donald Trump towards Iran, 73% of the public believe he is wrong, compared to 13% who think he was right, and 14% who have no opinion.

On the issue of corruption allegations against various candidates on the Democrats' list, 79% of respondents determined that the Attorney General, Gali Baharav-Miara, must open a criminal investigation. Only 9% believe such an investigation should not be opened, while 12% have no opinion.
