Two-year-old girl found injured after going missing; 11-year-old detained
A two-year-old toddler in Jerusalem was found by her parents with injuries half an hour after she went missing. She was hospitalized in light condition. An 11-year-old boy is suspected of attacking her.

A two-year-old toddler went missing this evening, Wednesday, in Jerusalem. She was found by her parents about half an hour later with signs of injury on her body. Police officers who arrived at the scene detained an 11-year-old Jerusalem resident for questioning, as he is suspected of being connected to the incident.
According to the police: "A report was received at the 100 emergency center regarding a toddler found in the Ramat Eshkol area of Jerusalem by her parents, after they reported she had been missing for about half an hour." The child was evacuated to a hospital for treatment, and her condition is defined as light.
"Upon receiving the report, officers from the Lev HaBira station arrived at the scene and located a minor suspected of being linked to the incident," the police stated. "He was taken to the police station along with his mother." It is suspected that the 11-year-old, who has not yet reached the age of criminal responsibility, attacked the toddler. However, the nature of the incident remains under investigation.
