A 76-year-old woman drowned today (Monday) after being pulled from the sea near Kibbutz Sdot Yam. Medical teams summoned to the scene performed prolonged resuscitation efforts, but were ultimately forced to declare her death.
A 76-year-old woman drowned today (Monday) after being pulled from the sea near Kibbutz Sdot Yam. Medical teams summoned to the scene performed prolonged resuscitation efforts, but were ultimately forced to declare her death.
Shilo Halevi, an emergency medical technician from the MADA motorcycle unit, stated: "When we arrived at the beach, we found the woman lying near the water unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing after she had been pulled from the water. We began resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, artificial respiration, and the administration of medications, after which we were unfortunately forced to declare her death."
