During the ceasefire, an IDF engineering vehicle was damaged Tuesday night in southern Lebanon. The army is investigating whether Hezbollah launched an explosive drone at the forces, in what could constitute a violation of the agreement. This was learned by ynet.
Meanwhile, the IDF Spokesperson stated that soldiers of the 601st Battalion and Yahalom, under the command of the 401st Brigade of the 91st Division, destroyed an underground Hezbollah headquarters in the village of Haddatha in the security zone controlled by the IDF. According to the announcement, the route was about 55 meters long and contained three living rooms. The route was built under a construction materials factory and at a distance of about 300 meters from a UNIFIL building. In addition, an underground shaft was located in the area of the route, containing dozens of weapons.
"The IDF will continue to act to remove any threat to its forces and will not allow the terrorist organization Hezbollah to harm the citizens of the State of Israel," it was stated.
While the Lebanese army is supposed to disarm the terrorist organization, Hezbollah is actually showing signs of rehabilitation in the south of the country. In recent days, it tried to open a new branch of "Al-Qard al-Hassan" in the Tyre area, the institution known as the "bank" of the terrorist organization - which during the war was often a target for IDF strikes. According to Lebanese reports, residents of southern Lebanon are opposing its opening for fear that the area will become a target due to Hezbollah's presence.
Media in the country quoted political activist Hari Murad last week, who claimed that "there has been a significant change in the Shiite mood. It is no longer acceptable to see the entire community standing behind every decision of Hezbollah as it was in the past. Hezbollah made wrong decisions that brought the community into a circle of death." According to him, "the Shiites need an alternative project compared to the killing project that Iran has brought with it in the last 47 years." Media outlets supporting Hezbollah claimed that the bank plays a social and economic role and that it is directly connected to Hezbollah's social environment.
