A terrorist attempted today, Sunday, to snatch the weapon of an IDF soldier at Rimonim Junction in the Binyamin Brigade sector. The soldier, serving in the 94th Battalion, reacted quickly, fired at the terrorist, and neutralized him. The soldier was not injured in the incident.

According to the IDF Spokesperson, an initial report was received regarding an attempted weapon snatching at the junction. Following the incident, additional IDF forces were dispatched to the scene. It appears the soldier identified the threat immediately and acted with precision to neutralize the attacker. The soldier's commanders praised him for his alertness and rapid response, which prevented the weapon from being seized. The circumstances of the incident are currently under investigation.

Earlier today, another terror attack occurred in the Judea and Samaria area. A 24-year-old Israeli man was moderately wounded in a stabbing attack near a store in the village of Al-Auja in the Jordan Valley. According to initial findings, the terrorist ambushed the man as he returned to his vehicle, where his wife and children were waiting, attacked him from behind, and stabbed him multiple times. The terrorist fled the scene, and IDF forces have launched a widespread manhunt, which has been extended to the Jericho area.
