"A soldier of Netanyahu": Iran executed 2 citizens and escalated executions

Drama in Tehran: Iranian authorities executed two citizens by hanging this morning, Amid Behzad and Pouria Safvat, after convicting them of passing coordinates of sensitive military and security sites to the Israeli Mossad during recent rounds of fighting.
During the trial, the court labeled Safvat a "soldier of Netanyahu and a traitor to the state." The prosecution presented messages allegedly sent to Israeli intelligence, which stated: "I also have the video where they are shooting at fighter jets, thank you, soldiers of the Prophet Moses."
International human rights organizations warn that the current wave of executions is not coincidental. They state that the Iranian regime is cynically exploiting security tensions with Israel to tighten internal repression and eliminate opponents under the guise of serious security offenses.
The current wave of repression has severely impacted the youth: at least 184 young people arrested during recent protests remain imprisoned, and 14 have already received death sentences. There is now immediate fear for the life of 18-year-old Shervin Bagrian.
Organizations accuse Tehran of grave violations of international conventions and of extracting confessions through extreme torture. The regime continues to use the death penalty as a political weapon against its citizens.
