Secret bag in an apartment and illegal aliens in hiding: Dramatic raid in the south
Two pistols, 5 magazines, and a suspected stolen off-road vehicle were seized during an operation to strengthen governance in the south. Six suspects were arrested, including two illegal aliens hiding in an apartment.
Police and Border Police forces raided a residential complex in Rahat overnight (Tuesday to Wednesday) and located two illegal aliens, residents of Dahariya aged 23 and 34, who were hiding inside an apartment. Significant quantities of weapons were seized during the operation, alongside a stolen off-road vehicle. A total of six individuals were arrested.
The raid was carried out as part of a task force operation aimed at strengthening governance and maintaining public security in the city. Following the arrest of the illegal aliens, officers discovered two pistols and 5 magazines inside a bag. In the yard of the property, a Maverick-type off-road vehicle was recovered, suspected of being stolen.
All 6 suspects were transferred to the Rahat police station for further investigation. The Israel Police stated that it "will continue to act with determination and in a focused manner against criminal elements to enforce the law, strengthen governance, and maintain public security."
