Like in the merry days of 2021, a blitz of giant funding rounds has descended upon the Israeli high-tech sector. The three exceptional rounds — WonderFul with $550 million, Upwind with $300 million, and Lyte with $165 million — total one billion dollars. More importantly, in the case of WonderFul and Upwind, this represents a doubling of valuation in less than a year since the previous round.

WonderFul: A round of more than half a billion dollars

The startup WonderFul, which developed an operating system for enterprise AI, announced a $550 million Series C round at a valuation of approximately $5 billion. This brings the company's total funding to over $800 million. The round was led by Insight Partners with participation from Salesforce and existing investors. The company plans to triple the number of employees at its development center in Israel.

Upwind: Valuation jumped 2.5 times in less than a year

The Israeli cyber company Upwind Security raised about $300 million in a Series C round, giving the company a valuation of about $3.8 billion. In just a few months, Upwind has more than doubled its value, with total capital raised standing at approximately $730 million. The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners and TCV.

Lyte: Officially revealed with $165 million

The American company Lyte, which develops technology for robotics systems and physical AI, was officially revealed following a funding round totaling up to $165 million. Investors include entrepreneur Avigdor Willenz and leading international funds, such as Fidelity Management & Research Company and Exor Ventures.
