Right-wing activist harassed Moni Moshonov: "Why do you refuse to die?"
In an incident he published himself, right-wing activist Eliran Siman Tov approached actor Moni Moshonov and asked him, among other things, "How is it that only in your clique you live so long?". In the past, Siman Tov was arrested on suspicion of spitting on former Prime Minister Olmert.
Harassment in the middle of the street: Right-wing activist Eliran Siman Tov harassed actor and comedian Moni Moshonov in an incident that was documented and published this week on Siman Tov's own Facebook page. In the past, Siman Tov was involved in a number of similar incidents, including with actor Yossi Marshak and with bereaved families who protested in front of the Knesset - and earlier this year he was even arrested on suspicion of spitting on former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
In the footage uploaded by Siman Tov, accompanied by the caption 'The Jews are coming', the right-wing activist approached Moshonov in the middle of the street and said to him: 'I have to ask you, how is it that at your age you haven't reached 'Ahuzat Rishonim' and such? How do you always have the strength to keep going until 200? You, Rivka Michaeli.' After a short time, Moshonov tried to ask Siman Tov to stop sticking to him, but the harassment continued: 'I have to know, how is it that only in your 'branza' (clique) you live so long? You refuse to die. Do you understand what you are doing? Do you understand that the division in the nation that you are creating with 'The Jews Are Coming' ('HaYehudim Ba'im'), do you understand how much this saddens people? Do you understand how much this saddens Jews? It doesn't just hurt me, it hurts many of the people of Israel.'
