Channel 12 News Reporter Attacked by Reality TV Star: "May There Be No Hope for Heretics and Snitches"
After a "Survivor" star launched a scathing attack on Channel 12 News reporter Omri Maniv, he showed no remorse and doubled down with a social media post: "State's witness."
Another storm on social media: Nir Regev, a well-known figure from the world of reality TV and politics who participated in the past in "Survivor", attacked Channel 12 News reporter Omri Maniv with extreme harshness following an investigation published by the journalist. Maniv decided not to remain silent and publicly exposed the chain of harsh and crude responses that Regev sent him in private.
On Sunday, it was revealed that the harsh words sent by Regev to Maniv included severe wishes and direct attacks. Among other things, he wrote:
"You stinking snitch, state's witness, you won't work in the State Attorney's Office in Lahav, you snitch, you have no afterlife, you trash."
In a follow-up message, he continued the crudeness:
"Die in agony, you trash, snitch, state's witness, go complain."
He concluded the series of private messages with a show of support for the Prime Minister's family: "And may you be an atonement for Sara, Bibi, Yair, and Avner, amen."
However, even after his words were publicized, it does not seem that Regev regretted his actions. On the contrary, he chose to escalate the conflict and later uploaded another story to his private account in which he directed a paraphrase of a well-known prayer against the reporter:
"For the state's witnesses, for the snitches, for the recorders, for the heretics, and for Omri Maniv of Channel 12 News, may there be no hope!!! Amen, may it be His will."
Alongside these words, he added the clarification: "The 12th blessing in the Amidah prayer."
Regev, who currently serves as the CEO of the football club "Hapoel Lod Bnei Regev" from Liga Bet South, is no stranger to the public eye. In the past, he worked as a model and served as a political advisor for MKs Miri Regev and Oren Hazan, alongside participating in the 12th season of the reality show "Survivor", from which he was eliminated in the early stages.
