Man Killed in Truck Accident on Highway 4 Near Holot

A tragedy occurred near Holot: a man was killed last night, Thursday, in a traffic accident involving a truck and a private car on Highway 4. MADA emergency services were forced to declare his death at the scene.
In a statement, the MADA spokesperson reported: "At 02:42, a report was received at the MADA Ayalon 101 dispatch center regarding a traffic accident between a truck and a private car on Highway 4 near Holot. MADA medics and paramedics found a man with no signs of life and declared his death at the scene."
MADA paramedic Anna Minis and emergency medical technicians Simcha Chasid and Orin Barsi stated: "This was a very difficult scene. The truck driver was trapped inside the vehicle with severe injuries and showed no signs of life. We performed medical examinations, after which, unfortunately, we were forced to declare his death at the scene."
