Drone falls near Itamar Ben Gvir's home in Kiryat Arba

A drone fell today, Saturday, near the home of Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir in the Givat HaAvot neighborhood of Kiryat Arba. The device contained no explosives and was recovered by the IDF. There were no casualties reported.
The identity of the operator and the purpose of the flight remain unknown, and the circumstances of the incident are under investigation. The Minister’s office confirmed that security officials updated Ben Gvir regarding the incident throughout the day, stating that "the minister and his family are safe."
Recently, the Israel Police and Shin Bet announced the arrest of 29-year-old Muhammad Awad from Nazareth on suspicion of attempting to join Hamas and promoting terrorist activities, including a plot to target Ben Gvir. During interrogation, it was revealed that the suspect, who worked for a security firm in Afula, had contacted Hamas to secure resources for terrorist operations.
Addressing previous threats, Minister Ben Gvir stated:
"This is the ninth time that terrorist organizations have targeted me. I thank the Shin Bet, the Israel Police, the Prison Service intelligence, the Magen unit, and above all the Almighty, who prevent the terrorists from harming me and my family."
