Electric bicycle rider seriously injured in accident on Highway 44 near Nir Tzvi

A road accident occurred on Highway 44: an electric bicycle rider, a foreign worker aged about 30, was seriously injured this evening, Monday, in a collision with a private vehicle near Nir Tzvi.
Medical teams arriving at the scene provided the victim with initial treatment and evacuated him to Shamir-Assaf Harofeh Hospital, suffering from head and limb injuries.
MADA paramedic Tehila Cohen and senior medic Yossi Navol stated: 'When we arrived at the scene, we found the cyclist in a state of confused consciousness, suffering from significant head and limb injuries. We provided initial medical treatment in the field and evacuated him to the hospital, where his condition was defined as serious but stable.'
