The latest episode of "Power Couple" provided one of the most dramatic moments of the season, as the plotline shifted sharply from physical tasks to social chess. The move by Asi and Adi Buzaglo, granting a decisive advantage in the task to Anna and Uri Banai, was not just a tactical maneuver, but a real shake-up. It unraveled the strong alliance in the villa that included Omri and Dorin Kanda, as well as Odia Pinto and Elior Sofer, and led directly to the elimination of the beloved couple, Elior and Odia.

The physical task itself put the couples to a nerve-wracking test. Under the scorching Indian sun, the tedious task required each couple to assemble an accurate row of 16 cubes and hold it stable for a full minute—a challenge that tested the participants' limits. At this point, the advantage given to Anna and Uri was gold; they were required to assemble a row of only 14 cubes, which paved their way to victory, earned them an additional 25,000 shekels for the budget, and immediately removed them from the elimination list.

For the audience, and for me personally, Odia's departure marks a significant loss. Throughout the last few weeks, she has revealed herself as a "television pepper"—a sharp, authentic, and filter-less character who generated interest in every frame. The way she chose to say goodbye, with restraint and nobility compared to the high-tension atmosphere in the house, only increased the wave of sympathy for her on social networks. I truly hope someone picks up the gauntlet and gives Odia Pinto her own docu-reality show.

From a strategic angle, Buzaglo's move raises quite a few questions. Betrayals are natural in such games, but they usually come with a clear rationale. In this case, giving the advantage to Anna and Uri, who are not considered a central part of his alliance, burned the trust with his most loyal partners, Omri Kanda and Odia.

At the same time, the dynamics between the other couples continue to generate fire. Anna's complaints about social exclusion stood in direct contradiction to the massive support she received from Asi and the other couples at the moment of truth, while the mutual screaming and constant tension between Elad and Shir continued to alienate fans. However, the new circumstances created an unexpected opportunity: Omri Kanda, who remained hurt and isolated, quickly identified the new map of interests and turned specifically to Elad and Shir. The fact that they became the best friends in the program only proves that everything is possible.

The surprising connection between former sworn rivals proves once again that in games of this kind, the enemy of the morning can become the ally of the evening. Asi Buzaglo may have demonstrated control in the short term, but the new union formed in opposition could turn into a block that will return the blow.
