288% jump: Playtika releases mixed reports and surprises the market
The gaming giant summarizes the second quarter of 2026 with mixed data, as one brand leads growth and compensates for weakness in the company's other titles.

International gaming giant Playtika released on Thursday its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, which ended on June 30, 2026.
Financial highlights for the second quarter: Revenue of $731.1 million decreased by 1.8% compared to the previous quarter and increased by 5.0% compared to the same period last year. Revenue from the DTC platform of $286.9 million decreased by 1.7% compared to the previous quarter and increased by 63.1% compared to the same period last year.
Net income was $48.0 million and adjusted net income was $53.6 million. Adjusted EBITDA of $206.1 million increased by 64.6% compared to the previous quarter and increased by 23.4% compared to the same period last year. Cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments totaled $438.5 million as of June 30, 2026.
"The second quarter results demonstrate what has always been at the core of Playtika's operations: we create games that players continue to play for years, not just for quarters," said Robert Antokol, CEO of Playtika.
The CEO further added:
"Disney Solitaire continued to grow in the second quarter even though we reduced our marketing investments and our profitability margins improved significantly. These results reflect the resilience of our business model and the discipline with which we execute it."
Tai Li, CFO of Playtika, stated:
"The second quarter results reflected the pace of investment we presented in the previous quarter, marketing expenses decreased significantly, profitability margins improved, and SuperPlay became a positive contributor to adjusted EBITDA."

The average number of Daily Paying Users (DPU) was 367 thousand, a decrease of 5.2% compared to the previous quarter and 2.9% compared to the same period last year.

The average conversion rate for paying players was 4.6%, up from 4.5% in the first quarter of 2026 and 4.3% in the second quarter of 2025.

Revenue from the game Bingo Blitz was $145.1 million, down 5.6% compared to the previous quarter and 9.5% compared to the same period last year.

Revenue from the game Disney Solitaire was $142.4 million, an increase of 15.5% compared to the previous quarter and 288.6% compared to the same period last year.

Revenue from the game June's Journey was $74.7 million, down 1.7% compared to the previous quarter and up 8.1% compared to the same period last year.
Playtika's financial outlook: "We are reaffirming our revenue guidance for 2026 in the range of $2.75 – $2.85 billion and our adjusted EBITDA guidance in the range of $750 – $790 million. Based on current trends, including a more cautious assessment regarding consumer spending and a planned reduction in marketing expenses in the second half of the year, we expect that the full-year results will be near the lower end of both guidance ranges."
