Another employee sues the Prime Minister's Office: "Sara Netanyahu bullied me"

A former employee at the Prime Minister's residence has filed a lawsuit against the Prime Minister's Office, claiming that the Prime Minister's wife, Sara Netanyahu, bullied him. The lawsuit is for 450,000 shekels.

According to the lawsuit, in December 2025, when the plaintiff's physical and mental strength was exhausted, he was transferred to work at the Prime Minister's Office. The statement of claim describes a difficult series of prolonged bullying: shouting, derogatory nicknames, unreasonable demands, and working around the clock in violation of the employment contract. The plaintiff claims that all relevant parties were aware of the severe bullying and unacceptable conditions but chose to ignore his complaints.

Last month, 61-year-old Yehiel Ohav Ami, who served as an operations assistant at the Prime Minister's residence, filed a statement of claim with the Regional Labor Court. He accuses Sara Netanyahu of severe and prolonged bullying, including shouting, curses, humiliations, and physical harm, and demands compensation of about 300,000 shekels.

It is alleged that the Prime Minister's wife physically assaulted him on three occasions. According to Ohav Ami, she pushed him with her body and pinned him to the wall while shouting insults. After he returned from a smoking break, she reportedly told him, "I wish you cancer" and "I wish you would die."

Ohav Ami describes how the pressure intensified during demonstrations in front of the residence, when Sara Netanyahu, fearing for her safety, would vent her anger on staff. On December 15, 2025, following an argument over a task, she told him: "I am the number one psychologist in the country, I diagnosed you — you are on the autistic spectrum," and demanded he pay her three salaries for the "diagnosis." The plaintiff noted that this incident led to his hospitalization due to stress, especially since his own son has such a diagnosis.

The straw that broke the camel's back was an incident on February 5, 2026, when, following the couple's return from the USA, Sara Netanyahu criticized his work, and the Prime Minister's son, Yair Netanyahu, reportedly grabbed his hand and demanded he leave the house immediately over a dispute regarding bed linen. Two days later, he was summoned to a pre-dismissal hearing, where he claims he revealed that residence officials frequently used the residence's credit card for private purchases.

The employee also detailed his daily routine: he was required to wait in the security room until Sara Netanyahu woke up, prepare breakfast only in the security kitchen, and serve it in several rounds. Any slight deviation, such as serving a fried egg on a deep plate instead of a flat one, led to outbursts of rage. He was also allegedly forced to clean the kitchen floor on his knees using small wipes, clean the soles of dozens of pairs of shoes while inserting paper balls into them, and wipe down suitcase wheels and cutlery before use.
