Another employee at the PM's residence claims: "Sara Netanyahu bullied me severely and humiliated me"

Rami Ben-Hamo has filed a lawsuit for 450,000 shekels against the Prime Minister's Office. Ben-Hamo was employed as a household worker at the residence on Balfour Street between 2023 and 2025. The lawsuit alleges daily bullying, shouting, and insults from the Prime Minister's wife. According to the lawsuit, he was required to clean floors and furniture on his knees using wet wipes. The plaintiff claims he worked an average of 60 to 80 overtime hours per month. The lawsuit claims that Ben-Hamo underwent an angioplasty, but the bullying continued even after that.

A lawsuit filed on Tuesday against the Prime Minister's Office describes a series of bullying incidents that, according to the employee, lasted for about two and a half years and included extremely long working hours, demands exceeding his role, shouting, insults, and humiliation. The employee, who was employed directly by the Prime Minister's Office, is demanding 450,000 shekels in compensation.

According to the lawsuit, Ben-Hamo was employed at the Prime Minister's Office for over a decade, working at various times through manpower agencies and direct employment. The period covered by the lawsuit is from March 2023 to December 2025. He claims that during this period, he performed every task and request he received from the Prime Minister's wife.

The lawsuit alleges that the working conditions were unacceptable and that the employee suffered from daily bullying. Among other things, it alleges shouting, name-calling, unreasonable demands, and working around the clock, contrary to the employment contract. It is further alleged that managers and officials in the Prime Minister's Office management knew what was happening but did not act to protect his rights.

"You are a bad cleaner, I and the PM don't like you"

The lawsuit details a series of examples of conduct defined as bullying. According to the claims, he was required to perform various cleaning tasks, including cleaning personal items with wet wipes and cleaning shoe soles. It is also alleged that he was required to wash his hands at the entrance to the house and between tasks, sometimes ten times a day or more. If he forgot to do so, he was subjected to shouting and insults.

In the last months of his employment, the conduct toward him worsened. According to the lawsuit, he was told: "You don't know how to clean, you are a bad cleaner!" and "Why aren't the panels clean?".

It is further alleged that the employee was required to clean the floor while kneeling. When it was claimed that dirt or a hair remained on the floor, wet wipes were thrown on the floor next to him and he was required to clean. The employee explained that he suffers from a vision problem, but his explanations were met with contempt.

"Get out of here, you are an undeveloped Moroccan"

It is alleged in the lawsuit that the outbursts toward the employee were daily. During the outbursts, he was told: "Get out of here, you ruined my family, I and the Prime Minister don't like you, and since you've been here, I've only had damages." In addition, according to Ben-Hamo, ethnic comments were made toward him, and he was called an "undeveloped Moroccan."

In another case, it is alleged that the employee was required to arrange bags in a certain way, and when he did not do it exactly as required, he suffered shouting and humiliation. He was told, "Come, let me teach you how to fold bags," and also, "You should pay me a salary for teaching you how to work."

Heart attack and continued bullying

In the lawsuit, it is alleged that on February 9, 2025, the employee arrived at work feeling chest pains. After being checked at the HMO, it turned out he was having a heart attack. He was evacuated to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital, where he underwent an angioplasty. However, according to him, even after the incident, the conduct toward him did not stop. He was told: "Come on, let them find me someone else instead of you." He was also sent to buy food items and was forced to pay for them from his own pocket.

The last incident

According to the lawsuit, in December 2025, Ben-Hamo reached a breaking point. The day before the main incident, he went outside to get some air and said: "May God take me away from this job already." The next day, a confrontation developed over the way a bag cabinet was arranged. The Prime Minister's wife took the bags out of the cabinet and threw them on the floor. The employee crawled on the floor to collect them. During the incident, she shouted at the employee: "Get out of the house now" and threw a bottle of tonic water on the floor.

Later, the Prime Minister arrived home. His wife told him that the employee told her that "God should take her already." The employee tried to explain that he said that "God should take me away from this job already," because he is suffering a lot. Shortly after, his work at the residence ended.
