Tzvika Hadar remembers Zvulun Moshiashvili: "He was sick, he did not ask for help"
Presenter and head of the entertainment department on Channel 16, Tzvika Hadar, marked three years since the passing of his friend and "Shemesh" co-star Zvulun Moshiashvili ("Shashi"), sharing candid reflections on his character: "He did not want to burden anyone."
As part of his program on Channel 16, Tzvika Hadar dedicated a moving segment to the memory of actor Zvulun Moshiashvili, who passed away at the age of 52 after a battle with liver disease. Hadar recalled the beloved character of "Shashi" from the "Shemesh" series and described Moshiashvili as a "great actor and a dear friend."
During the broadcast, Hadar shared honestly about the relationship between them in the years leading up to his passing. He noted that due to life circumstances, the two were in less frequent daily contact, but maintained a warm connection during holidays and events. Hadar explained that Zvulun was a very private person who avoided burdening those around him with his difficulties:
"He was a person who did not project to his surroundings what he was really going through, simply because he did not want to bother people — that was his character. Even when he was sick and in a bad state, he did not ask for help; he said 'it will be fine' and did not want to bother."
At the end of his remarks, Hadar offered warm praise for the special nature of his late friend and emphasized the human legacy he left behind: "When you see a person in his good moments, a person who influenced the world... and in Zvulun's case specifically, it is a person who did not have a gram of ego, a gram of evil. Just a good, good, good soul. It is truly a longing for this type of person."
