Turbogen Taps Former NYC Mayor Eric Adams for US Expansion
Israeli tech firm Turbogen has partnered with former NYC Mayor Eric Adams to drive its expansion in North America, leveraging his expertise to boost energy resilience solutions.
The Israeli technology company Turbogen, which develops and manufactures multi-fuel micro-turbines for decentralized electricity generation, announced a significant strategic move: signing a consulting and business development agreement with a strategic group that includes former New York City Mayor Eric Adams. As part of the cooperation, Adams will join the company's advisory board to support its next growth phase in the United States and globally.
In his role, Adams will provide strategic guidance and help expand access to customers and business partners in North America. Additionally, he is expected to connect the company with distributors and strategic players, and represent it before the American media, aiming to accelerate the penetration of systems that provide energy resilience to residential buildings, hotels, and data centers. This move aligns with the company's vision to address the growing need for independent and flexible power supply.
Adams, who served as Mayor of New York City from 2022 to 2025, commented on joining: "I found a company that addresses a critical need for energy resilience. The ability to generate electricity right where it is needed, with full flexibility in fuel types and across a variety of applications, is what sets Turbogen apart in my view. I believe there is a great opportunity here."
