Tsangauker vs. the "shofars", Yinon Magal explodes: "Stupid and an animal" | Listen
Einav Tsangauker's tweet against Benjamin Netanyahu and the "poison shofars" sparked a storm, ending in a harsh personal attack by Yinon Magal on air. The radio host fired back on live broadcast, calling her "ungrateful and speaking like an animal," prompting an immediate intervention from Ben Caspit.
A sharp confrontation developed between Yinon Magal and Einav Tsangauker after the latter published a tweet attacking Magal and the government against the backdrop of the new agreement in Gaza. Ben Caspit, the host alongside Magal, came to her defense and joined the criticism she voiced against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Tsangauker wrote in a tweet:
"They tell me that the 'shofar' Magal is having a tantrum about me on the radio. Let it be clear, to you Yinon and to all the 'poison shofars' - you did not scare me when my Matan was in Gaza and I am not afraid now."
Later, she claimed that the new agreement in Gaza is a "total failure." According to her, it was US President Donald Trump who returned the hostages, while Netanyahu, who promised the destruction of Hamas, its dismantling and the demilitarization of the Strip, left the organization in Gaza so that it could strengthen and prepare for another massacre.
"Netanyahu is a total failure. That is the truth," she wrote. "Instead of dealing with it, the 'shofars' are attacking me. I am not afraid, move on."
Magal responded to the tweet with a sharp personal attack:
"It's not related, I just think you are stupid, ungrateful and speak like an animal."
He mentioned her previous statements and added: "The stupidity - Trump returned the hostages and Netanyahu left Hamas? Do I even need to explain how stupid this is and how low-level it is?"
According to him, it is precisely the Americans who are currently pressuring Israel to compromise with Hamas, while Netanyahu opposes it. "But she blames Netanyahu. Why? No brains - no worries," he said.
Caspit spoke out against the remarks and expressed unequivocal support for Tsangauker: "Einav Tsangauker is one thousand percent right in everything she said about Netanyahu and in everything she thinks about him."
He referred to a poll according to which 68% of the public believe that Israel has not won the war, and rejected Magal's claim that Netanyahu is standing up to American pressure in Gaza. Caspit mentioned a report according to which a payment of $5,000 would be offered to every Hamas operative who surrenders their weapon, and added cynically: "This is a truly wonderful stand." Caspit concluded with a sharp attack on the Prime Minister: "We are not grateful to Netanyahu. He needs to pack his rags and get out of our lives - just for the fact that he was Prime Minister on October 7."
