IDF: Five Hamas weapons warehouses destroyed in the Gaza Strip

The IDF emphasizes: the weapons were intended to harm forces and civilians, and operations will continue to remove threats despite the reports last night regarding the agreement to disarm Hamas published by the Peace Council.
During the night between Friday and Saturday, IDF forces, acting on intelligence, struck several targets throughout the Gaza Strip and destroyed five warehouses where Hamas weapons were stored. According to the IDF, the warehouses contained Kalashnikov-type weapons, explosive devices, anti-tank launchers, ammunition, and other military equipment.
One of the warehouses attacked was located near the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, in the center of the Strip. According to the IDF, the site was used as a shelter for terrorists who stored weapons there. The IDF notes that this is another example of Hamas using civilian infrastructure, including medical facilities, for terrorist activity.
It was further reported that the destroyed weapons were intended to be used by Hamas to carry out attacks. The strike was carried out with the aim of removing the threat. The IDF added that Southern Command forces are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreements, and that they will continue to act to remove any security threat.
This strike comes against the backdrop of the plan to disarm Hamas. The Peace Council for Gaza published yesterday the full text of the roadmap signed by Hamas, a 15-point document titled "Roadmap for completing the implementation of President Donald Trump's comprehensive peace plan in Gaza."
At the same time, it is written: "The Israeli forces will complete their phased withdrawal from the Gaza Strip according to an agreed schedule." The document defines the final goal of the process as "a credible path towards the realization of self-determination and a Palestinian state."
In Israel, there was a reserved reaction to the reports, while US President Donald Trump noted:
"We have an understanding with Israel. Israel is very happy about the matter. Many said that this is a deal that cannot be implemented. Will there be ups and downs? Yes, but no one thought it was possible to disarm Hamas. People in the Middle East are happy about this."
