IDF Located Dozens of Weapons in Civilian Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon
Reserve forces of the 55th Brigade Combat Team uncovered weapons, explosives, and anti-tank missiles hidden in civilian buildings in the village of Majdal Zoun. The terrorist infrastructure used by Hezbollah has been destroyed.
Reserve forces of the 55th Brigade Combat Team, operating under the command of the 91st Division, are active in the village of Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon as part of the security zone. During the operation, troops identified civilian buildings repurposed as terrorist infrastructure, housing dozens of weapons used by Hezbollah.
Among the items seized by the IDF were Kalashnikov rifles, magazines, ammunition, grenades, explosives, explosive devices, anti-tank missiles, and mortar shells. Following the discovery, the forces destroyed the buildings used for Hezbollah's terrorist activities.
The IDF stated that it will continue to act to neutralize threats to its forces and Israeli citizens, ensuring that Hezbollah is unable to establish terrorist infrastructure or operate against the State of Israel.
