Trump: "I am the last person to trust Iran; if they do something - they will get hit hard"
In a conversation with reporters outside his plane, the President claimed that the United States has absolute control over the Strait of Hormuz. Trump also addressed the plane-switching incident, stating it was a decision made by the Secret Service, and noted that he faces numerous threats.

United States President Donald Trump spoke today, Wednesday, with reporters outside his plane and said: "With Iran, things are moving along well, just great. We have absolute control over the Strait of Hormuz. The control is in our hands. No one else controls it - only us. Our fleet is incredible, and things are moving along great for our country."
"I don't trust Iran. Why do you say I trust Iran? I am the last person to trust Iran. They have lied to me again and again," the President claimed.
The President addressed the control over the Strait of Hormuz and warned the Iranians against a response: "Right now we have absolute control over the Strait of Hormuz. They have no control. We have absolute control. The strait is in our hands. And at some point, maybe they will do something - and then they will get hit hard. But right now we are in a very good position. We have a country that for 50 years was the bully of the Middle East. Actually, 51 years if you think about it, right? We've been saying 47 for four years now. And they are no longer the bully of the Middle East."
Trump addressed the plane-switching and his transport in a catering truck: "This is entirely up to the Secret Service. I just do what they ask me to do, and so I act in accordance with the instructions of the Secret Service and the military. They wanted me to fly on a different flight, on a different plane, with the same level of safety, but they wanted me to do it - so I did it. I do what they say. I assume there was some threat there, I get a lot of threats."
"No, I am not surprised. I have a lot of threats against me. There are many threats that you don't even know about. Every influential president has many threats. Presidents without influence are not threatened, and I think I am perhaps the most influential president," he added.
Regarding Senator Darlin Graham and her reaching the second round, Trump said: "She just called me to thank me for the support, and it's great that she is doing so well. And she is a very good woman, and she has good genetics because she is a relative of Lindsey, who is a real professional. So we'll see. I am going to call her now. She called me two minutes ago. She definitely reached the second round, and that's good, that's what it was."
"I like the other people in the race too. They are all Trumpists, but you know, I supported her. I think she is great. It is really in honor of her brother, and she is a very smart woman. You know, Lindsey loved his sister more than anything. He would tell me about her, that she is just exceptional. He even said she is better than him. That was hard for him to say," he added.
