Timothée Chalamet is not exactly enjoying the connection created between him and Eddie Veyro, a Mexican OnlyFans creator who earns thousands of dollars a month from adult sexual content thanks to his resemblance to the Hollywood actor, according to a report in the Daily Mail. Veyro, in his late 20s, uses the username @CallMeEddieV, a fairly transparent reference to Call Me By Your Name, the 2017 film that turned Chalamet into a global star.

Timothée was updated about the account and the attention surrounding it, a source told the Daily Mail. The comparisons have made the situation uncomfortable for him. Eddie's resemblance is too close for comfort, and the content is sexual. His concern is not about Eddie's sexuality or his audience, but simply the possibility that people will mistakenly associate him with content he did not create and did not approve.

Veyro, for his part, insists he is not trying to mislead anyone. "I think people just like that I have a lot of similarities to Timothée, but it's just for fun," he said. "I can't control what people say about how I look. I don't want to take his name or anything like that. I never intended to upset Timothée or copy him. I am not associated with him, and he has not supported, approved, or participated in my account or its content."

Veyro's account is branded on social networks around the resemblance to Chalamet. On X, he is presented as the Chalamet lookalike everyone is talking about, and on OnlyFans, he invites users to see his private and uncensored side. He opened the account three years ago to earn more money, but according to him, it quickly got out of control. "I used it for fun," he said. "I really had no idea it would grow so fast. I wanted to earn more money than my other job. And then after a year I said to myself, 'Oh my god, this is really big, so I need to make it more professional.' Now it's almost my full-time job."

In the first year, Veyro gained 20,000 followers. Later, he started collaborating with other creators, photographers, and companies on promotions, and created explicit gay pornographic content. Today, he already has more than 100,000 followers. According to him, the references to Chalamet started after Call Me By Your Name came out, when many people told him, 'You look a lot like him.' Veyro says he is a fan of the film and that he started following Chalamet when he was younger: "I always said, 'He's really cute.'"

Veyro, for his part, still admires Chalamet. "He's a good actor, for sure," he said about the person who unconsciously provided him with a life he could once only dream of. He refused to say exactly how much he earns, but said it is thousands of dollars every month. "I'm making really good money," he said. "That's the reason I want to make the account more professional."

His first purchase was an SUV, which he finished paying off within three months. Three years later, he has already bought his first property — a house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms that he plans to rent out on Airbnb. Later, he says he wants to leave OnlyFans and use the money he earned under the slogan 'Your fantasy about Timothée's lookalike starts here' to open his own business. "I would like to open a bar or a restaurant," he said. "I grew up with businesses, I helped my father in his business, so I want to go in that direction." He added: "I understand that people might come because of the resemblance, but once they subscribe, I hope they stay for me."

The Daily Mail reached out to Chalamet's representatives for comment, but it has not yet been received. We, in any case, if we may, do not see any resemblance at all...
