Tom Kashti: "I received calls from television programs with large sums of money"
Tom Kashti tells about the seclusion in the forest on the advice of his brother-in-law and the surprising call that arrived on Sunday with large sums of money that left him in complete shock: "I didn't understand how powerful seclusion is".
Reality TV star Tom Kashti, who previously starred in the shows "Survivor" and "Goalstar", has moved away from the spotlight in recent years and avoided participating in prominent television projects. Against the backdrop of the media storms that accompanied his family, he chose to step away from the screens and open a new chapter in his life.
In an interview with "2000", Kashti spoke about the process of spiritual strengthening he underwent and his belief that he experienced miracles during a complex period in his life:
"My brother-in-law is an avrech. He lives in Elad, married to my sister. My sister is truly deeply religious. I told my sister that I wanted to come to them and observe Shabbat at their place. I spoke with her husband: 'Listen, my life is on a bad wave. What do I do? I don't feel good about myself'. He told me: 'Good, go into seclusion (hitbodedut), ask for whatever you want. Observe Shabbat according to the law at our place, try it. Go to the forests, ask for whatever you want. Cry out your life. Do what you feel before Him one-on-one'".
According to him, after he acted according to his brother-in-law's recommendation and began observing Shabbat, he felt that a turning point had occurred in his life. He said that shortly thereafter, he began receiving offers to participate in television programs for significant sums of money:
"After the first Shabbat, something happened to me. I didn't understand how powerful seclusion is. Already on Sunday, I received calls from two television programs with very large sums of money. I said to Him: 'What is this, Almighty? Only on Friday I went into seclusion and already You are sending me such miracles?'".
As recalled, last year Kashti was interviewed by "Reshet 13" and spoke about the fundamental change that occurred in his life: "It is no secret that in recent years I have moved a bit to the side from the industry and entertainment. I went in a slightly different direction. Today I coach a children's and youth soccer team in Ramat HaSharon, and I also market parquet flooring. There are moments when you need to move from a certain place and open up luck in other places - and that is what I did".
