Tesla Model Y Performance Debuts in Israel with Grok AI Integration
Tesla integrates the Grok AI assistant into production vehicles in Israel, tested alongside the new Model Y Performance featuring 460 horsepower and a 0-100 km/h time of 3.5 seconds.

Tesla has begun rolling out its Grok AI assistant to production vehicles in Israel, offering drivers deep integration into the car's data processors and cloud computing rather than just acting as a basic voice interface. During test drives of the new Tesla Model Y Performance, the system successfully handled complex voice commands in Hebrew and other languages, managed navigation routes with multiple stops, and controlled essential vehicle functions. While response times can sometimes lag and advanced features require a paid subscription, the integration marks a significant step forward in connected driving technology.
Performance and Specifications
The Model Y Performance stands as the most powerful and expensive variant in Tesla's Israeli lineup, featuring dual motors that deliver approximately 460 horsepower. Weighing just over two tons, the crossover accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, shaving two-tenths off the previous generation's time. The vehicle features 21-inch wheels, red brake calipers, carbon-fiber accents, and a WLTP-rated range of up to 580 kilometers, supporting fast charging up to 250 kW.
Driving Dynamics and Competition
Equipped with active dampening suspension, the Model Y Performance offers a firmer ride that effectively absorbs urban road imperfections while maintaining exceptional stability in high-speed corners. Priced at approximately 334,000 NIS in Israel, it competes against performance electric crossovers such as the IM6 Performance at 296,000 NIS and the XPeng G6 Performance at 257,000 NIS, appealing to enthusiasts seeking high-end dynamic capabilities.
