Shin Bet Director David Zini recently held a lengthy meeting with former Prime Minister and "Beyhad" party chairman Naftali Bennett.

According to reports, the meeting took place at Zini's request, following Bennett's remarks in an interview with Channel 12, where he promised that if appointments made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "do not work for Israel and introduce politics, they will be replaced."

In April, Bennett stated regarding the Shin Bet Director: "If he works for the State of Israel, does not introduce politics, and is not a slave to Netanyahu or his family members, but acts for the good of the country, he will remain. If the situation is the opposite, I will certainly replace him. The person's actions will determine the decision."
