A fantastic achievement for the Israeli sailing team, securing two medals in the women's IQFoil windsurfing competition. 20-year-old Tamar Steinberg won the final race to claim the gold medal, while 23-year-old Olympic silver medalist Sharon Kantor finished second with the silver medal.

The third Israeli out of four participants in the final, Daniela Peleg, settled for fourth place, while Shahar Tibi was stopped in the quarterfinals and finished fifth.

"F*, I am so happy," Steinberg summarized. "It was such a hard final, such a competitive race. Not everything you want happens, but this happened and I am happy. I had one goal in mind and I went for it. In the medal race anything can happen, and I am glad it happened the way I wanted. I am happy for Sharon and also for Daniela and Shahar, we have such a good team. It's amazing."
