Israel has raised its alert level. The source noted that it remains unclear whether Trump intends to involve Israel in the initial phase of the operation.
Scenarios presented at the White House suggest that a significant and focused strike on energy facilities in Iran could destabilize the regime. Such an attack could be time-limited and would not necessarily trigger a global "energy war."
"It is not a question of if, but when. All signs indicate that Trump has no choice but to move in this direction," the source added.
