A significant development in the investigation of the murder of Eldar Dayan: the police suspect that the four young men arrested in the case kicked Dayan in the head during the fight in Petah Tikva, causing him a brain hemorrhage that led to his death.

The four will be brought today, Tuesday, to the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court, and the police are expected to charge them with suspicion of murder by a group. Another suspect who was allegedly involved in the fight is on the run, and the police are conducting a manhunt for him.

According to the investigation, five young residents of Petah Tikva participated in the fight that preceded Dayan's death. Four of them were arrested yesterday and this morning, after having already been questioned in the past on suspicion of involvement in the incident. Now the investigators suspect that during the confrontation they kicked Dayan in the head, and that the attack is what caused the brain hemorrhage from which he died. The fifth suspect has not yet been arrested and is on the run. The police are working to locate and arrest him.

The four suspects will be brought during the day to the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court, where the police will request to extend their detention.

Advocate Shai Roda, who represents one of the suspects, stated:

"My client denies the suspicion that attributes to him the offense of intentional murder. My client provided a version, handed over his mobile phone, and claims that he is not involved in the murder of Eldar Dayan."
