Sophie from 'Married at First Sight' reveals her son: 'I don't promise to be a perfect mom'
Just before we find out what happened to the relationship between Sophie and Dor from 'Married at First Sight', the bride and new mother decided to surprise and reveal their firstborn in an emotional post: 'I might make mistakes, but I promise you that I will always be there'.
The lives of Sophie Daniel Benjamin and Dor Oz Cohen have changed completely since they met under the chuppah on 'Married at First Sight'. They managed to get to know each other in front of the cameras, fall deeply in love, and bring a shared baby into the world. While countless speculations are flooding the web regarding their relationship (a new episode airs tonight, after the news, on Keshet 12), the bride decided to reveal the face of her son, Eitan Yitzhak, to melt everyone's hearts and remind them what is truly important.
In a post she published on her Instagram account, she wrote:
'Thank you, my child, that thanks to you I earned the title of mom. I have no way to explain this privilege, this love, and the feeling that suddenly I have a heart beating outside my body. You fill me with so much happiness, and I find myself wanting to stop time and save every moment. Your scent, your smile (I know it's just reflexes for now, waiting for the first smile and giggle), your little hand in mine, and all the little moments that only you and I know. I don't promise to be a perfect mom, I will surely make mistakes, learn, sometimes I won't know what is right, and maybe I will even make mistakes. But I promise you one thing, that I will always be there! That I will always take care of you, protect you, listen to you, and be the place you can return to — at any age, at any stage, and in any situation. If there is one thing I already know after only 26 days — I love you with a love that has no limits.'
As a reminder, Sophie and Dor welcomed their firstborn in the middle of July. About a week later, the two held a small circumcision ceremony at their home and revealed for the first time the name they chose: Eitan Yitzhak, explaining that the second name was given in memory of Dor's late father. The celebrations did not end there, and shortly after, the couple decided to hold a brit party to which friends from the show and the experts were invited.
