Mandate poll: Eisenkot returns to the top - Lieberman strengthens
A Channel 13 poll places Eisenkot's party in first place and the opposition bloc at 58 mandates, compared to 51 for the coalition. A merger between Mansour Abbas and Yoav Segalovitz receives 7 mandates, but the majority of the public opposes including Ra'am in the government.
The mandate map continues to remain far from a clear decision, but gives an advantage to the camp opposing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to a Channel 13 poll published this Wednesday, the opposition party bloc reaches 58 mandates, while the current coalition parties settle for 51. The Arab parties together receive 11 mandates.
According to the poll, the "Yashar!" party led by Gadi Eisenkot leads with 23 mandates and becomes the largest party. Likud weakens to 22 mandates, while Naftali Bennett's party maintains its strength with 13. Yisrael Beiteinu led by Avigdor Lieberman strengthens to 11 mandates, a number identical to that received by "The Democrats" led by Yair Golan. Itamar Ben Gvir's Otzma Yehudit wins 9 mandates, United Torah Judaism 8, and Shas 7.
Hadash-Ta'al receives 6 mandates, while Religious Zionism and Ra'am win 5 mandates each. Remaining below the electoral threshold are the lists of Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel, Balad, and Blue and White led by Benny Gantz. A scenario tested in the poll is a merger between Ra'am chairman Mansour Abbas and Yoav Segalovitz. According to the poll, such a joint list receives 7 mandates — two more than Ra'am's strength when running alone.
The poll was conducted and published by Channel 13 and carried out by "The Madad" of Shmuel Rosner and Noah Slepkov, in cooperation with Stat-Net of Yousef Makladeh, the sampling project of Dr. Ariel Ayalon, and Askaria of Dudi Dror. 961 respondents participated in the poll, and the sampling error stands at 3.7%.
