Dramatic poll: Likud strengthens, opposition loses majority

A new mandate poll published this morning in the Maariv newspaper, conducted by Lazar Research led by Dr. Menachem Lazar in collaboration with Panel4ALL, points to a strengthening of the Likud party led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Alongside this, the opposition bloc is weakening and losing the majority needed to form a government. According to the data, Likud strengthens by two mandates and rises to 22 seats.

Despite the increase in the ruling party's power, the coalition bloc remains at 49 mandates and fails to reach a majority. The opposition bloc also does not achieve an automatic majority, standing at 57 mandates.

In the current poll, the HaBayit HaTzioni party led by Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel crosses the electoral threshold and wins 4 mandates. According to the bloc distribution, these mandates could grant the opposition bloc the majority needed to form a government.

Among the opposition parties, there is a decline in the strength of the Beyachad party and the Democrats, each of which loses two mandates. On the other hand, the Yashar! party led by Gadi Eizenkot maintains its status as the largest party in the poll with 23 mandates.

Meanwhile, Balad (1.8%) and Blue and White (1.2%) do not cross the electoral threshold. In summary, the Zionist opposition stands at 56 to 57 mandates, the coalition at 49 mandates, and the Arab parties maintain their strength with 10 mandates.
