A serious incident occurred on the northern border this morning, Tuesday, at approximately 07:15, when six workers were injured by an explosion in an open agricultural area near Metula. Two of the victims are in serious condition.

Medical teams summoned to the scene provided life-saving treatment. Two individuals were classified as seriously wounded, one as moderately wounded, and three as lightly injured. The two most severely affected were urgently evacuated by helicopter to the hospital for further care.

Police forces and bomb disposal units were dispatched to the scene to conduct a thorough search for additional explosive devices. Initial reports suggest the item may have been a cluster munition remnant, though the exact circumstances and origin of the object remain under investigation.

The Israel Police have opened an investigation and issued a public warning: "Do not touch any fragments or interception debris found in the area due to the ongoing fighting in the north. If you identify a suspicious object, report it to the police immediately."
