Sean "Diddy" Combs was involved this week in a fight with another inmate at the FCI Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey, and according to a report by TMZ, was immediately transferred to solitary confinement afterward. According to several sources, the confrontation heated up after the other inmate insulted Combs, and he decided to respond himself. Sources report that the two pushed and hit each other until prison staff quickly separated them. Those same sources said that Diddy stood his ground during the fight, but that did not spare him from what followed — he was sent to the "hole" at Fort Dix, meaning solitary confinement. However, it is unclear if Combs is still in isolation, but the incident could cost him more than just a few hours alone. His current release date is set for February 2028, and it is based, among other things, on good behavior. If the prison administration determines that he was the one to blame for the confrontation, his prison sentence could be extended.

"We are not authorized to disclose or provide internal information regarding any inmate in our custody. Such information is not available to the public," stated a representative for FCI Fort Dix. The Federal Bureau of Prisons also stated that they do not comment on disciplinary matters or other information regarding specific inmates, for reasons of privacy, safety, and security.
