Israeli Media Personality Amira Buzaglo Opens Up About Pregnancy Losses
Israeli media personality Amira Buzaglo recently opened up on live television about her heartbreaking journey of enduring seven pregnancies and five miscarriages.

Amira Buzaglo, one of Israel's most prominent media figures known for casting hit television formats and serving as a cultural advisor to Tel Aviv-Yafo Mayor Ron Huldai, recently opened up about a deeply personal and painful chapter of her life. During an emotional broadcast on the Channel 16 morning show "16 in the Morning," which she co-hosts with writer and journalist Lior Dayan, Buzaglo shared her harrowing journey through pregnancy losses.
A Painful Confession on Air
Speaking candidly to the panel and viewers, the media personality revealed the heavy emotional toll she has carried for years. "I experienced seven pregnancies, but I only have two children. Five were miscarriages, and two of those were proper dilation and curettage procedures," Buzaglo shared, reflecting on her struggle to expand her family.
She recalled the shock and trauma of her first loss, describing how initial joy turned instantly into a medical emergency. Arriving at the hospital expecting good news, she was immediately hospitalized without even being allowed to return home for clothes, plunging straight into a stressful medical procedure.
Overcoming Shame and Silence
Reflecting on the aftermath of her experiences, Buzaglo admitted that she initially grappled with intense feelings of isolation.
I felt sadness, shame, and shock. I remember asking myself back then if it was right to share, and today I wonder how it took me two years to speak about it outside my closest circle of friends.
By bringing this difficult conversation to the forefront, Buzaglo hopes to break the lingering stigma surrounding pregnancy loss and miscarriage, reminding women that they are never alone in their private grief.
