Intelligence regarding hidden weaponry in the Palestinian village of Lakiya led to a coordinated offensive operation by Samaria district detectives and troops from the Ephraim Brigade. Forces raided the area, seizing three concealed shotguns and detaining two local residents in their 30s and 60s for questioning.
In a separate incident, Ma'ale Adumim police officers intercepted a suspicious vehicle near Jerusalem. The driver was found operating without a license, and a subsequent search revealed a loaded pistol with ammunition. The Jerusalem resident was arrested and remanded in custody until October 14.
