Dozens of inquiries from across the country reaching the PUSH editorial desk in recent days from driving students and instructors present allegations of problematic conduct in practical driving tests.

According to reports, there are cases where examinees are failed without justification, alongside tests that are cancelled at the last minute. The long wait for a new test causes many students emotional distress alongside heavy financial expenses.

Among the testimonies received, a post published by the mother of a driving student stands out. She stated that her son had waited many long months for a test, but shortly after the exam began, the examiner announced that the tablet had broken down and the test was stopped.

According to her, even though the technical malfunction was not her son's fault, he was forced to return home, wait again for a new date, and bear additional costs for driving lessons.

Other applicants report test cancellations with short notice, exceptionally long waiting times between tests, and a feeling that some decisions are inconsistent.

"You pay thousands of shekels, wait for months, and in the end, you feel that you have no control over the process. It is emotional distress that causes heavy financial damage," wrote one of the students. It should be noted that these are allegations received by the editorial desk and this does not determine whether the issue is widespread or systematic.
