Reservists: 'Fighter' card benefits available starting today
The IDF, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of Finance have begun loading 'Fighter' cards for reservists who served in 2026. The cards will be credited with up to 5,000 shekels, with Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich emphasizing that this is a well-earned right.

The IDF, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of Finance began today, Tuesday, loading 'Fighter' cards for reservists in recognition of their significant contribution during reserve service in 2026. The benefit is added to the digital card provided to soldiers, consolidating all benefits into one convenient tool.
Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich addressed the reservists in a special video message:
'Dear reservists, keep an eye on your 'Fighter' card. Today we started loading it with up to 5,000 shekels that you can spend on whatever you like. You deserve it, you earned it by right and not by grace. Over the last year, you have left everything behind and reported time after time for the defense of the homeland.'
The Minister added: 'I invite you and your family members to use the 'Fighter' cards. We have already invested over 26 billion shekels to support you and your families. You will always be our top priority. We love you, are proud of you, and embrace you.'
