Roy Revivo to Return to Training: Maccabi Tel Aviv Believes in a Comeback

Against the backdrop of an official offer from Elche, and with the knowledge that two other teams are interested in him and may approach Maccabi Tel Aviv in the coming week with an offer, Roy Revivo will return tomorrow (Sunday) to train with his teammates at Kiryat Shalom. The left-back did not fly with the team on Wednesday for the match against CSKA Sofia in Batumi, Hungary, as part of the third qualifying round of the Europa League. He trained at Kiryat Shalom on Thursday and Friday with other players who did not fly, such as Yunes Mlada, Dani Gropper, and Ion Nicolaescu.

Today, coach Kenny Miller gave the players a day off, and as mentioned, tomorrow Revivo will return to train with everyone, while it is still unclear whether he will travel with the team for the return leg in Bulgaria on Thursday.

Maccabi Tel Aviv players admitted this morning that they are still shocked by the result of the match the night before last, but some made it clear that it is not serious to place the responsibility for the team's performance in Batumi — in this case on Revivo — in the 3:0 defeat to CSKA Sofia.

Either way, the team is not giving up before the return leg.

Miller will make several changes to the lineup in light of the performance the team showed in the match the night before last.
