The airline, which is traded at a value of approximately 9 billion shekels, is joining a dedicated program of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange with the goal of attracting foreign investors and increasing trading volumes, with the move set to begin this week.

The airline, which is traded at a value of approximately 9 billion shekels in the TA-90 index, has chosen Migdal Market Making and Meitav Market Making with the goal of increasing trading volumes and attracting foreign investors. The activity will begin on September 1.
El Al is joining the dedicated market-making program of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. As part of the move, the company has chosen two leading financial entities, Migdal Market Making and Meitav Market Making, to serve as market makers for its shares.
El Al, which is included in the TA-90 index and is currently traded at a market value of approximately 9 billion shekels, is joining the dedicated program alongside leading companies in the economy from the banking, insurance, and energy sectors. The goal of joining is to increase the liquidity currently existing in the stock, reduce buying and selling costs for investors, and increase the attractiveness of the security for local and international players.
The program is managed by the stock exchange in full coordination with El Al's management and in accordance with defined goals. Under the model, market makers are compensated according to their performance and the level of competition between them, which creates a high commitment to improving the liquidity of the security. Currently, nine financial entities operate on the stock exchange within the framework of various liquidity programs. The new activity in El Al shares is expected to be reflected in trading starting September 1, 2026.
