At the end of the week, it was reported that advanced talks are underway between Ra'am chairman Mansour Abbas and former Knesset member Yoav Segalovitz, regarding the possibility of Segalovitz joining the Ra'am party and taking the second spot on the list, following Abbas. Journalist Raviv Drucker addressed this report on his program "Azor Bechira" ("Election Zone") on Channel 13, defining it as "a move that is driving the propagandists crazy."

"Do you want to know how brilliant the move of adding Segalovitz to Mansour Abbas's Ra'am and placing him as a candidate for Minister of National Security is? Just look at the fit of madness among the propagandists," said Drucker.

"Yoav Segalovitz was the head of the investigations division, responsible for some of the biggest corruption investigations we have seen here," Drucker added. "He was responsible for the fight against crime in Arab society. The number of murders in Arab society dropped by 17 percent during his tenure. During the period of the propagandists, crime has already risen by hundreds of percent. Mansour Abbas has proven more than once that he does not fold in the face of criticism. From my acquaintance with Segalovitz, this pile of filthy people will not move him either."
