Journalist Raviv Drucker opened his program on Channel 13 this evening (Wednesday) with a sharp monologue about the wave of new political organizations seeking to present an alternative to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Drucker mentioned Gilad Erdan and Yuli Edelstein, who are expected to announce a new party, mocked the deliberations surrounding Ayelet Shaked and Moshe Kahlon, and also mentioned Dedi Simhi's joining of the Blue and White party led by Benny Gantz and the establishment of the "Zionist Home" (Beit Tzioni) by Yoaz Hendel and Chili Tropper. According to him, the multitude of similar lists does not benefit the camp, and their chances of passing the electoral threshold and becoming a real alternative to Netanyahu are low.

In his remarks, Drucker said:

"Ayelet Shaked has finally decided that she will not run with Erdan and Edelstein; Kahlon is still deliberating. The mandate magnet Simhi is still half with Gantz, and Erdan and Edelstein will likely announce their 'historic' party tomorrow. Friends, for heaven's sake, you have killed us! Who even knows what the difference is between you and the party of Israel's foundations, also known as 'Zionist Home'?"

He further added:

"Here is a free piece of advice a minute before the announcement: Do not run. The chance that you will pass is low anyway. Stay in Likud, do not run, and wait for Bibi to fall. Who knows better than you that almost everyone who left Likud, from Meridor and Milo to Tzachi Hanegbi, lost most of their political power. This time it is happening, this time Bibi will lose, and you should be there."

As recalled, the "Zionist Home - The Reservists" party, led by Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel, held a launch event for its election campaign this evening, attended by hundreds of activists, IDF wounded, and heads of local authorities.

In addition, Israel's Ambassador to the UN and former Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan and Knesset member Yuli Edelstein are expected to announce tomorrow (Thursday) the establishment of a new party and a joint run. Erdan will be first, and Edelstein is expected to take the second spot. The two are expected to reveal additional members, but at the moment, the connection between them and the chairman of the Blue and White party, Benny Gantz, is encountering difficulties, as is the connection with Ayelet Shaked.
