The Saudi channel 'Al-Hadath' quoted today a briefing from an IDF source who spoke out against Defense Minister Israel Katz.

According to that IDF source, CENTCOM (US Central Command) is furious following the revelation by Israel Katz that planes took off from Israel to attack Iran.

According to the source, 'Katz revealed operational secrets about the takeoff of American fighter jets from Israel to attack Iran. As a result, the Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir was forced to apologize to the commander of CENTCOM for Katz's remarks. There is now a high level of alert after Katz revealed that American fighter jets took off from Israel to bomb Iran.'

This week, during a conference of 'Channel 14', Defense Minister Katz said that American planes and tankers take off from Israel for attacks in Iran. The minister stated: 'The Iranians are shooting at everything that exists in the area, except for Israel. They know that American planes and tankers take off from here to attack.'

In the IDF, they deny the remarks and emphasized that the published information is not true.
